Want to travel for less? Be loyal!
One of the best travel tips I’ve learned is that loyalty pays, literally! I’ve always had aspirations of traveling to several places, but sometimes money can be a deterrent. Not with with a little loyalty! Almost every airline has a loyalty program that helps you earn miles for that next vacation. I suggest finding an airline that works for you and stick with them, even if the flight costs a little more money.
I have had an American Express Delta Platinum card for several years now. Some of the benefits that sold me on the card; your miles don’t expire, (2) free bags each flight, and (1) companion pass each year. There are annual fees, but with these benefits it will pay for itself. My girlfriend Brooke and I flew to Maine last year for free with these perks! Link below for more info.
Delta also provides fantastic customer service and as you gain status, you will be rewarded with more perks, like upgraded seats. Another benefit to flying with one airline, you can earn miles in other ways. You’ll be able to earn miles towards purchases of Lyft rides, rental cars, hotels, groceries and much more.
In conclusion, research an airline that fits you. I have found that Delta is the airline for me, you may find another that suits you well and that’s ok. Find what works for you and start earning miles towards your next trip!
